Staying Healthy This Cold And Flu Season

Cold and flu season is just around the corner. Avoid the sneezes and sniffles with these foods that boost an immune punch! Here are a few of my favorites:

-Red Bell Pepper- rich in vitamin C, slice and use to dip in hummus
-Carrots- rich in Beta Carotene, slice and use to dip in hummus, or toss with other root vegetables and bake
-Mushrooms-Contain Beta Glucans, use in salads, soups, and stews
-Almonds-Contain Vitamin E, a handful a day with an apple with keep the doctor away
